How it trades
A mean reversion EA: it bets that JP225 tends to drift back toward its recent average after stretching away.
- Entry
- When price stretchesOn a closed M30 candle, when price has moved unusually far from its recent average and starts to turn back, it opens one position.
- Exit
- Back toward the averageThe trade is closed when price returns near the average, or after a maximum holding time if it does not.
- Stop loss
- Always setEvery trade carries a fixed protective stop. A losing trade can be larger than a typical winning one.
- When it stays out
- No trade, by designIt skips strongly one-directional markets, wide spreads and the daily rollover period, and holds one position at a time.
